Fairlie House re-accredited to Platinum Status for the GSF

We’re incredibly proud to confirm that Fairlie House has received further re-accreditation at the Platinum level for the Gold Standards Framework for the next 3 years.

Members of the senior management team, staff from Fairlie House, and relatives attended a ‘virtual’ awards ceremony on the 5th May to officially ‘receive’ the award. In addition, Fairlie House has also been shortlisted for the national GSF Care Home of the Year award with the winners of this prestigious award being announced in September 2022. Go team, Fairlie!! Watch this space!

We are aware of the huge amount of effort and work that went into building the portfolio for this re-accreditation and in normal circumstances this would be impressive. However, to have done this during a global pandemic with all of the pressures and stresses that brought, is nothing short of outstanding We are, as always humbled, grateful, and very proud to work alongside such a compassionate, dedicated, and hardworking team and this award is a testament to the outstanding care you deliver to our patients day in day out.

Also, a personal thank you to Mathombi Nyanhi and Phylis Salmon (GSF co-ordinators), Francis Piasan (ECHO co-ordinator), Lorne Sewell for the admin support, and Rose Donnelly for assisting with the E-portfolio, and of course Rachel Metzger and Sylvia Onyekwelu for their hard work and commitment.

We’d also like to thank every member of the Fairlie House team across all departments and also those support services (including our GPs) that made this re-accreditation possible. The award is well deserved and is a reflection of the hard work and commitment to delivering outstanding care to our patients that you all passionately show.
